New York, Here we come!

At Whizpr we like to keep an open mind. An unbiased view on the world. Therefore it is essential to go out there and see for ourselves, obviously...

After Barcelona in 2006 and Leysin, Switzerland in 2007, what better city to visit now than the home of the American Communications Industry: New York !

(Okay, ok, so far for the BS justification of this trip... In truth? The whole Whizpr team has worked really hard in the past year, and it was time for some serious fun...)

So New York it would be.

Friday morning we drove to Düsseldorf to board LTU 3550, Air Berlin. At arrival we were met by a stretched limo to get us to the Big Apple in style. And while we're at it, why not throw in some more 'old style': our hotel was the world famous Waldorf Astoria. Old world style and elegance.

Then the seventeen Whizprs were unleashed on the town: some hitting the shops, some going to Times Square for dinner.

Afterwards we went up to the roof of the Rockefeller Center, "On top of the Rock" for some gorgeous late night views of the city.

It was way, way beyond our normal bedtime before we went to sleep. Briefly that is, because the jet lag was about to hit us at 5 a.m.
